Job summary

Simpack is seeking a Senior Information Security & Zero Trust Advisor to evaluate complex federal enterprise environments and lead strategic improvements in information protection, data security, privacy, identity and zero trust for U.S. Air Force contexts.

The role involves working with senior executives and hands-on practitioners to translate mission and security objectives into practical recommendations and implementation approaches, ensuring alignment with U.S. Air Force environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Seven years of relevant experience; master’s may substitute for two years.
• Experience analyzing enterprise environments from an information security perspective.
• Experience working with executive and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assess enterprise environments to identify information security risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support design and advancement of information protection, data security, privacy and zero trust strategies.
• Contribute expertise in IAM, ZTNA and PAM.
• Engage senior client executives and technical practitioners to develop actionable recommendations.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support security initiatives in U.S. Federal Government and U.S. Air Force environments.

Working with senior executives and hands‑on technology practitioners, this role converts mission and security objectives into practical recommendations and implementation approaches, with relevance to U.S. Air Force environments

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute subject‑matter expertise in Identity and Access Management, Zero Trust Network Access and Privileged Access Management.
• Engage senior client executives and technical practitioners to develop actionable recommendations and implementation approaches.
• Communicate findings, priorities and recommendations clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Support security initiatives in U.S. Federal Government and U.S. Air Force environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Seven years of relevant functional experience. A master’s degree in a business or technical field may substitute for two years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing enterprise environments from an information security perspective.
• Experience working with executive and technical stakeholders.

Required Security Clearance

• Must possess a current Secret security clearance at the time of application.
• Clearance eligibility must be verifiable through the applicable U.S. Government personnel security system.
• Must maintain Secret clearance eligibility throughout employment and comply with all security, access and reporting requirements associated with the role.

Other Desired Experience

• CISSP certification or another relevant certification, such as CCSP, CAP, CEH or CISA.
• Identity and Access Management experience.
• Zero Trust Network Access experience.
