College of Charleston is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst (Re-Announcement) to design and evaluate enterprise security solutions, lead incident response, and guide junior staff within the Security department.

The role emphasizes monitoring security operations, vulnerability management, and compliance with frameworks such as NIST and PCI. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in a related field and 5–10 years of relevant experience; valid driver license and background check required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in information security administration, network administration and/or information technology systems administration.
• Equivalent combination of experience and/or education encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security operations and reporting systems for threats and incidents.
• Perform vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
• Serve as Information Security SME on RFPs and projects.
• Lead incident response and remediation playbooks.
• Stay abreast of security threats and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor Junior Information Security Analyst and lead security activities.
