Job summary

Mantis Security Corporation seeks an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team responsible for cyber operations, defense, and information assurance across DoD environments. You will design secure architectures, implement STIGs, and perform risk analyses while coordinating with system administrators to ensure compliance and secure operations.

Qualifications

8 years of relevant experience or equivalent including a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s may substitute for two years of experience
DoD 8570 IASAE Level 3 compliance required
Three years of experience with scripting languages, Linux/RedHat, and networking appliances
ISSEP and CISSP certifications required
Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph

Responsibilities

Develops and implements security designs addressing hardware, OS, and software cybersecurity requirements
Identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies
Implement STIG requirements and conduct SRG assessments
Develop and configure Splunk applications and dashboards
Conduct risk analysis using ACAS, CVEs, CWEs and coordinate with system admins to mitigate vulnerabilities
Support RMF-based certification and accreditation activities with DoD/IC authorities
Assist in security engineering across life cycle, including risk management and continuous monitoring
