Job summary

Mantis Security Corporation seeks an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team responsible for cyber operations, defense, and information assurance across DoD environments. Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent including a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s may substitute for two years of experience
• DoD 8570 IASAE Level 3 compliance required
• Three years of experience with scripting languages, Linux/RedHat, and networking appliances
• ISSEP and CISSP certifications required
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements security designs addressing hardware, OS, and software cybersecurity requirements
• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies
• Implement STIG requirements and conduct SRG assessments
• Develop and configure Splunk applications and dashboards
• Conduct risk analysis using ACAS, CVEs, CWEs and coordinate with system admins to mitigate vulnerabilities
• Support RMF-based certification and accreditation activities with DoD/IC authorities
• Assist in security engineering across life cycle, including risk management and continuous monitoring
