Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Specialist to protect and improve our enterprise technology landscape across endpoints, networks, and cloud. You will lead risk-based security controls, drive remediation, and collaborate with IT ops and business partners to embed security into projects.

The role requires hands-on security expertise, strong communication, and the ability to influence security decisions while maintaining business continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, CS, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years in IT infrastructure, security engineering, or related field.
• Strong enterprise infrastructure knowledge: Windows, Linux, AD, networking.
• Experience implementing or supporting enterprise security controls.
• Experience with vulnerability management, patching, and hardening.
• Knowledge of security monitoring, incident response, and logging.
• Ability to collaborate with infrastructure teams and communicate risks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain security controls for enterprise infrastructure and cloud.
• Lead vulnerability management, remediation, and risk reduction efforts.
• Investigate security alerts and participate in incident response and improvements.
• Support SIEM/EDR/XDR usage, logging, and threat detection enhancements.
• Promote secure configurations and governance across networks and endpoints.
• Collaborate with IT operations, networking, cloud, and business stakeholders.
