Job summary

Randstad Enterprise is seeking an Information Security Engineer III to serve as a senior leader within the Digital Information Security Architecture team. You will evaluate technologies and initiatives to identify security risks and provide risk-based guidance across the organization.

You will mentor junior staff, shape security strategy, and collaborate with engineers, business leaders, vendors, and security professionals to ensure security is embedded in decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in systems/security engineering or related roles.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management.
• Ability to rapidly understand new technologies and assess security implications.
• Experience performing security assessments and architecture reviews.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technologies, business initiatives, and proposed solutions to identify security risks and provide risk-based guidance.
• Translate security implications into actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Apply security frameworks and standards to evaluate complex situations and propose safeguards.
• Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, vendors, and security professionals to integrate security into decision-making processes.
• Research emerging technologies, threats, and regulatory requirements relevant to the organization.
• Conduct security reviews and architectural evaluations to identify weaknesses and improvement areas.
• Develop clear security guidance, assessments, and standards for stakeholders.
• Communicate complex concepts and risk tradeoffs to engineers, leaders, and executives.
• Present findings and build consensus on security approaches.
