Job summary

Pinnacle is seeking a seasoned IT Systems Engineer to support organization-wide information technology infrastructure, focusing on modernization and reliability. The role covers analysis, development, installation, testing, and maintenance of hardware, software, networking, and security across multiple systems.

You will troubleshoot incidents and respond to user requests, acting as a primary escalation contact and SME for core domains. A bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of experience are required.

• Serves as escalation point for junior engineers
• Acts as subject-matter-expert for area of responsibility.
• Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area and raise/report violations.

Provides support to internal lines of business across the technology infrastructure including analysis, development, modification, installation, testing, and maintenance of hardware, software, networking, and security for a variety of systems. Troubleshoots issues, makes recommendations, and responds to and solves incidents and client requests based on standard operating procedures and runbooks. Assists and serves as a point of escalation for junior team members.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Experience:

5 to 7 years of experience supporting a variety of technologies and functions including virtualization experience. Regular office environment;
