Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is hiring for a Senior Security and Compliance role focused on governance, risk, audit and security delivery. Remote work is available in the US, with occasional travel.

We seek a seasoned professional with 10+ years in risk management, audit or security delivery, versed in HIPAA, NIST, FedRAMP and ISO27001, and strong communication skills to drive compliance across multinational teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in risk management, audit, security or technical delivery roles.
• Experience with audit programs, leading remediation efforts.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, NIST, MARS-E/ARC-AMPE, and FedRAMP.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in diverse, virtual environments.
• Ability to influence delivery personnel on security/compliance requirements.
• Security consultant/architect/engineer experience preferred.
• Knowledge of information security best practices and standards (NIST 800-53, ISO27001).
• Experience with security processes and accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Lead security operational governance activities.
• Drive remediation efforts and SLA/SLO adherence.
• Ensure compliance and security-driven delivery.
• Oversee security tooling and business operations to avoid non-performance or penalties.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and clients.
• Present clear Gainwell messaging to stakeholders.
• Create and maintain an account security plan for accounts and products.
• Manage security incidents from start to finish.
• Coordinate audit preparation, facilitation and remediation.
• Manage security risks and exceptions.
• Ensure knowledge of security policies and standards.
