Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to join the Cybersecurity team in the United States. You will handle software vetting, compliance documentation, and ensure security configurations align with frameworks while coordinating with IT and Cybersecurity teams.

You will manage a diverse workload, advance documentation, and contribute to process improvements. A growth-minded role with opportunities to take on increased responsibilities as capabilities develop.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Active security certification or within 6 months of onboarding.
• S solid understanding of multiple cybersecurity domains.
• Strong English language skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC and ISO 27001.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and contribute.

Responsibilities

• Tier 1/2/3 cyber help desk duties with customer engagement.
• Vet software for inclusion on production network.
• Perform security posture checks and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Assist with risk assessment and RMF, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC.
• Escalate issues to engineers/managers when appropriate.
• Maintain and develop InfoSec Team process documentation.
• Provide inter-departmental support and customer service.
• Analyze email and coordinate with Cyber Operations on suspicious activity.
• Additional duties as needed.

In this role, you will work with the Cybersecurity team on a variety of Information Security tasks, to include software vetting, compliance documentation, exception monitoring, engineering and automation tasks, and configuration support. You will be required to manage your workload independently, support compliance for the Enterprise, monitor and adjust your priorities to requests, develop processes and maintain documentation, and work with IT and Cybersecurity teams to ensure security configurations remain aligned with expected frameworks.
