Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in cloud platforms, data engineering tools, and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and lifecycle management of security data products (data lakes, Data Factory, Databricks).
• Apply AI and stochastic optimization to derive security insights and automate processes.
• Architect and implement secure, automated solutions for global security operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and track remediation.

JOB DUTIES: Lead the delivery and lifecycle management of enterprise security data products, including data lakes, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks. Applied Al, Stochastic Optimization using Cyber Central data for security insights. Drive security efficiencies through automation, orchestration, and process optimization. Architect and implement secure, automated, and integrated solutions that support global security operations and business initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate security risks, track progress, and ensure alignment with strategic goals. Develop and execute security test plans, validate controls, and enhance system stability without impacting business continuity. Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, Zero Trust, GDPR, and others. Participate in change management, architecture reviews, and strategic planning sessions. Mentor junior team members and serve as a technical resource across the organization. 100% telecommuting allowed from any location in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science/Engineering or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related field.

ALTERNATIVELY, Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science/Engineering or related field of study and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or related field.

Applicant must have five (5) years demonstrated experience in each of the following:

• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), data engineering tools (Data Factory, Databricks), and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, and JavaScript).
• Deep understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.
• System and network security engineering across Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Vulnerability management, penetration testing, and secure architecture design.
• Communicating complex security risks in business terms and influencing decision-making.
