Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group seeks a Senior Information Review and Release Analyst to thoroughly research documents, determine redactions under EO13526, FOIA and PA, and document decisions with supporting rationale.

The role requires a security clearance, strong analytical abilities, and familiarity with IC policies. You will coordinate with client teams, maintain records in release systems, and ensure consistent application of exemptions.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of information security and classification experience.
• Experience reviewing and redacting classified information in SAR programs.
• Prior client experience with IC policies and regulations related to information security.
• Familiar with FOIA, PA, EO and related exemptions and processes.
• Active security clearance required for the role.
• Strong research, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with peers and management.

Responsibilities

• Research substance and context of documents and determine redactions.
• Provide redaction rationale using legally defined exemption codes.
• Record decisions in the appropriate system and ensure accuracy.
• Identify OGA equities and coordinate for referral or coordination as needed.
• Review prior release decisions to ensure consistency and compliance.
