Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. is seeking a qualified Senior Information Assurance Technical Expert (Platform IA-Cloud) to support the Strike Systems Program Office at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The role demands extensive DoD IA experience, cloud security expertise, and a TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities include system security evaluation, documentation for certification, and collaboration across DoD lifecycle processes. Travel and lengthy program coordination form part of duties.

Qualifications

• Nine plus years of relevant IA experience with advanced DoD IA focus.
• ACAT I program experience and SAP exposure preferred.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification required or equivalent.
• Cloud security experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS deployments.
• CISSP and CCSP certifications required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate system security and IA requirements per ICD 503, CNSS 1253, DoDI 8510.01, NIST 800-53.
• Develop documentation to support system certification and accreditation.
• Support USAF Airworthiness and lifecycle engineering processes.
• Gather and present program data to briefs and reviews.
• Analyze performance deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Contribute to DoDI 5000.02 documentation and Air Force programs.

Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is looking for a qualified Senior Information Assurance Technical Expert (Platform IA- Cloud) to support the Strike Systems Program Office located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. This individual will apply their knowledge and experience in engineering principles, criteria, and procedures of Air Force systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles to efficiently and effectively accomplish acquisition objectives consistent with DoD 5000.02 policies and procedures.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Evaluation of system security and information assurance requirements consistent with the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503, Committee for National Security Systems (CNSS) Instruction 1253, Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8510.01, and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53.

• Develop system security and information assurance documentation consistent with the standards above to support system certification and accreditation as well as interim authority, and authority to operate, decisions.

• Assist with execution of the USAF Airworthiness process per MIL-HDBK-516 and the AF Life-Cycle Systems Engineering (LCSE) and Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) processes as prescribed by AFMCI 63-1201.

• Gather and develop technical and business data necessary to build and, as required, present program briefs

• Analyze equipment and software performance deficiencies and make recommendations for corrective actions

• Support the following:

• development and review of the full range of documentation and products required by DoDI 5000.02.

• implementation of Air Force Integrity Programs

• requirements development, allocation, and verification

• review and evaluation of weapon system design, analyses, and verification documentation and reports

• program meetings, working groups, and technical and business reviews as needed

• development of contract and documentation changes and updates

• source selections in a technical advisory role as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

• 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. Senior Information Assurance (Platform IA) must have a minimum six (6) years of relevant DoD IA experience and a technical Bachelor degree from an accredited university.

• Three (3) of these relevant IA experience years must be within a recognized ACAT I (or equivalent) program and have one (1) year on a Special Access Program.

• Must have a DoD 8570 Information Management (IAM) Level II Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent

• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or equivalent certification,

• Required to have six (6) years of relevant IA experience

• Experience in evaluating CSP agreements for alignment with customer business and mission objectives.

• Cloud experience in the design, application, and configuration of various CSP computing service models (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), CSP deployment models (e.g., Private, Hybrid, Community),

• Infrastructure as Code application and configuration in CSP deployment models, and the selection, application, and testing of security controls for a given CSP cloud implementation, mapping existing system security requirements transitioning to a cloud environment

• Active TS/SCI
