Job summary

GoIntellects Inc. seeks an Information Assurance and Security Specialist - Master for a hybrid role in the DMV area, DC. The candidate will managed security standards, DR planning, and enterprise security design across on-prem and Azure cloud environments.

Required are 16+ years in IS policy, vulnerability analysis, and security violation management, with CISSP/Security+/CEH. In-person or webcam interviews are required; duration runs through early 2027 with a rate of $90/hour on W2.

Qualifications

• 16+ years of experience developing, maintaining and enhancing IS policies/requirements.
• 16+ years of experience performing vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems/apps.
• 16+ years of experience identifying, reporting and resolving security violations.
• Cloud-Azure (Highly Desired)
• Experience in complex Enterprise-level projects
• Expert understanding of Windows server operating systems
• Knowledge of on-premises and cloud security productions
• Good understanding of IP Networks/Security
• Extensive experience troubleshooting NetApp SAN
• Hands-on experience managing storage on VMware ESXi
• VMware Site Recovery Manager experience (Highly Desired)
• Security CISSP, Security+, CEH (Required)

Responsibilities

• Determines enterprise information assurance and security standards.
• Develops and implements information assurance/security standards and procedures.
• Coordinates, develops, and evaluates security programs for an organization.
• Identifies, reports, and resolves security violations.
• Establishes information assurance and security requirements based on analysis of user, policy, and resource demands.
• Supports customers in developing and implementing doctrine and policies.
• Applies know-how to government and commercial systems with specialized security features.
• Performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.
• Analyzes and defines security requirements for computing systems.
• Designs, develops, engineers, and implements security solutions.
• Provides integration and implementation of computer system security solutions.
• Analyzes security problems and provides basic engineering support.
• Performs vulnerability/risk analyses during all phases of system life cycle.
• Ensures all information systems are functional and secure.
