Job summary

Bcore is seeking an Information Assurance Security Engineer in the Springfield, VA area. The role requires an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility and CI poly, with responsibilities spanning security policy, incident response, and cross-agency security coordination.

The candidate will work across IT groups to implement security from the ground up and ensure compliance with RMF processes. Ideal candidates have 10–15 years of data security experience, a Bachelor's in CS or related field, and

Qualifications

• > Requires Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related discipline; 10-15 years data security experience.
• > IAM II certification to start; 8570.1M alignment.
• > Knowledge of ICD 503; familiarity with Cloud infrastructure/AWS.

Responsibilities

• > Write information security policy drafts and coordinate Certifications & Accreditation.
• > Provide expert technical services on all aspects of Information Security.
• > Advise on system design/architecture to meet security requirements.
• > Manage multi-agency information sharing and integration security.
• > Perform incident response, log reviews, and security issue consultations.
• > Conduct forensic traffic/log analysis to isolate issues and respond to alerts.
• > Develop and implement corrective security measures and training.
