Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union in California seeks a Senior ETL Developer to provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise in the design, development and support of the enterprise data platform using Informatica ETL.

This senior role leads other ETL developers, partners with the ETL Architect to enforce standards and patterns, ensures high-performance data warehouse solutions, and delivers reliable data delivery and quality for business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or comparable discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum five years’ experience designing, developing and supporting enterprise data warehouse ETL implementations.
• Experience with Cloud implementations is essential.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling for ETL design (type 1/2/3, star/snowflake).
• Proven ability to lead ETL development on large projects and ensure data quality.

Responsibilities

• Establish standards, design patterns and best practices for ETL development in an enterprise data warehouse environment.
• Install, configure and administer Informatica PowerCenter and IDQ; familiarity with Web Services Hub.
• Lead workflow and mapping analysis, design, development, testing and configuration.
• Act as expert and lead resource on ETL projects across the project lifecycle.
• Support and monitor enterprise data warehouse ETL jobs and processes.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems to ensure uptime and service levels.
• Develop artifacts, runbooks and guides for operational support.
