Job summary

Ascension is seeking a senior network engineer to own and optimize the enterprise DDI platform, including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM, across large-scale environments. You will lead root-cause analyses and resolve critical incidents while driving upgrades and integrations within the Infoblox ecosystem.

The role requires 8–10+ years of hands-on experience, strong DNS/DHCP/IPAM skills, and Cisco/Certs preferred. This is a remote position with career growth opportunities within Ascension's Core Tech

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale DNS, DHCP, and IPAM environments.
• Infoblox expertise (NIOS, Grid architecture).
• Strong DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and TCP/IP knowledge, including DNSSEC fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the enterprise DDI platform (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM) for availability and performance.
• Serve as the senior technical expert for DNS/IPAM issues and resolve high-impact incidents at scale.
• Lead upgrades, migrations, service improvements, and integrations within the Infoblox ecosystem.
