Job summary
Pinyon Environmental is seeking an experienced Industrial Hygienist to deliver health and safety consulting services to a mix of clients, including government and industry. The role covers exposure monitoring, field sampling, data analysis, and technical writing, with opportunities to develop programs and training that comply with OSHA standards.
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in industrial hygiene, field instrumentation, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene or related field is required or equivalent
- OSHA 24- or 40-hour HAZWOPER Training with refresher is required
- CABI certification preferred
- Experience with field instrumentation and IAQ monitoring
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Conduct exposure monitoring for hazards (silica, dust, chemicals, fungi, noise)
- Perform sampling and field tasks in accordance with regulations
- Assist with planning, execution, analysis and reporting on projects
- Help clients develop OSHA-compliant programs and trainings
- Travel within the Rocky Mountain Region may be required
- Prepare technical write-ups and recommendations
