Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking an experienced Estimator to lead our Industrial estimating team. The role focuses on cost-effective estimates for opportunities with new and existing clients, supporting industrial refrigeration and manufacturing projects across the United States.

The position requires a Mechanical Engineering background or equivalent field experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to develop detailed scopes of work.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Industrial Industry, principles and practices related to industrial process piping construction project estimation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or 7 years minimum experience working for a refrigeration contractor on industrial systems design or 10 years in piping estimating.
• General proficiency in AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Face-to-face interactions with clients to conceptualize and coordinate solutions for challenges our clients face.
• Coordinate effectively with vendors and sub-contractors to document detailed scopes of work.
• Communicate pipeline activities regularly to ensure steady workload and departmental growth.
• Provide timely communication within department and across organizational lines.
