Job summary

Altria in Clarksville, TN seeks a Senior Electrician for 3rd shift to support Production Operations, Quality, Safety and CC&S. You will maintain plant equipment, facilities and grounds, read schematics, install wiring, test systems, and ensure safe operation on a US Smokeless Tobacco facility.

Requirements include high school graduation with electrical training or 5+ years in industry; knowledge of PLCs, NFPA 70E, Allen Bradley, 480V, 3‑phase; strong fault‑finding and safety focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with electrical training or 5+ years of industrial experience.
• Knowledge of PLCs, NFPA 70E, Allen Bradley, blueprints, 480V and 3-phase power.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and interpret codes.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings, blueprints and schematics to layout industrial equipment installations.
• Install conduits, pull wires, and install electrical components safely.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems using meters and instruments.
• Repair motors, control circuits and electrical panels while maintaining safety.
• Maintain instrumentation and ensure orderly work area and compliance.
