Job summary

Mesabi Metallics Company LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to support engineering, project execution, and plant expansion within our Integrated Steel Plant in Paducah, Kentucky. This role encompasses preparing and maintaining accurate engineering drawings for industrial facilities while ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

The ideal candidate will possess 5-8 years of relevant experience in drafting, a solid understanding of industrial engineering practices, and strong collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years of relevant drafting experience.
• Experience supporting greenfield, expansion, modernization, or capital project environments preferred.
• Hands-on experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams in industrial plant settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and maintain engineering drawings in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, operations, maintenance, and construction teams to ensure drawing accuracy and timely delivery.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable engineering standards, industrial codes, project specifications, and company procedures.
