Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an experienced Cyber Security professional to join a global SOC team in a hybrid Duluth, GA location. You will monitor OT/IT environments, develop SOAR playbooks, perform malware analysis and threat hunting, and guide analysts while improving remediation strategies.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in IT/security, 5+ years in SOC, and hands-on experience with SIEM/SOAR tools and Python-based automation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Information Technology, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or related security function.
• 5+ years using SIEM/SOAR technologies.
• 5+ years developing or implementing security automation using Python or SOAR.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SIEMs, tickets, emails, and escalations; review logs from OT/IT components and network devices.
• Design and test SOAR processes and playbooks; troubleshoot automation capabilities.
• Perform malware analysis, threat hunting, and threat modeling.
• Provide remediation recommendations understandable by non-technical staff.
• Mentor Level 1 SOC Analysts and develop knowledge base entries.
