Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Technical Specialist to provide advanced technical leadership in the development, implementation, testing, startup, commissioning, and calibration of instrumentation within BMS, EPMS, SCADA, and ICS systems.

The role requires handling multiple interconnected systems with secure, interoperable configurations and knowledge of electrical and mechanical distribution systems. You will plan and execute complex projects, contribute to a safe working environment for

Qualifications

Requires 10 or more years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of EPMS, BMS, Industrial instrumentation and/or SCADA systems
10+ years of experience with a High School Diploma; 8+ years with an Associate's
Requires reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer

Responsibilities

Lead development, implementation, testing, startup, commissioning and calibration of BMS/EPMS/SCADA and ICS systems
Perform basic TCP/IP configuration and configure communication devices
Troubleshoot communication link failures and Modbus gateway devices
Configure and troubleshoot vendor power meters, PDU, ATS, generators, STS, UPS and battery systems
Navigate EPMS/SCADA applications for monitoring and data retrieval
Assist in safety and commissioning tools and ensure safe startup
Write Point-to-Point and startup scripts for EPMS/BMS/ICS systems
Manage startup progress and issue tracking
Basic programming and debugging of PLC/SCADA systems
Proficient technical writing and adherence to industry codes and standards
Willingness to travel to customer sites for startups
