Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Industrial Base Analyst in the McLean, VA area to lead analytical work supporting the defense industrial base. You will manage contract tasks related to industrial base analysis, M&A assessments, and supply chain risk mitigation while overseeing IT systems and predictive analytics developments.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance, advanced economics/finance education, and extensive experience in defense industrial base analysis, with the ability to produce

Qualifications

• Active and maintained Top Secret security clearance.
• Master's or PhD in Economics, Finance, or closely related field.
• 10+ years of defense industrial base analysis and supply chain risk management experience.
• CFA or Certified Business Economist certification.
• Experience conducting M&A and divestiture impact analyses on the defense industrial base and major defense programs.
• Experience identifying supply chain vulnerabilities and producing analytic products to support mitigation strategies.
• Experience providing data analysis to support GOCO industrial facilities and responding to senior-level inquiries on budgets/plans.
• Experience tracking investments, developing roadmaps, and integrating strategies with industrial base investments.
• Experience applying authorities under Title I and III of the Defense Production Act (DPA).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and analytical support to the industrial base mission.
• Direct contract tasks focused on industrial base analysis and strategic support.
• Oversee M&A assessments, supply chain vulnerability analyses, GOCO and policy support, and investment road mapping.
• Oversee sustainment and development of industrial base IT systems and predictive analytics capabilities.
