Job summary

Kinetik is seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to support the daily operations, installation, programming and maintenance of automation and process control equipment across multiple field facilities in the Permian Basin.

You will design, install, calibrate and troubleshoot PLC/DCS systems, read schematics, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering and IT teams to improve plant uptime and reduce operating costs. Overtime and call-out may be required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
15+ years of Automation experience.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Excellent diagnostic and repair skills for complex automation problems.
Reading schematics and PLC programs.

Responsibilities

Install, program, start-up and maintain automation and process control equipment.
Design, specification, installation, programming and calibration of automation equipment to improve uptime and reduce costs.
Support plant activities including DCS, PLC, measurement facilities, gas collection, compressors, and processing equipment.
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering and IT groups.
Work with complex PLC programs and advanced process control systems.
Overtime and call-out as needed.
Other duties to support operations as necessary.
