Job summary

Matrix Technologies seeks a Senior Industrial Architect to lead project designs, mentor teams, and manage budgets across multiple offices in the United States, with a potential for fully remote work for the right candidate.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of building systems, and licensure. The position includes a base range of $96,000 to $135,000 annually with ESOP participation and overtime pay.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without employer sponsorship.
• An accredited Bachelor of Architecture degree is required.
• Master of Architecture is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a registered Architect in Industrial Architecture.
• Successful completion of the Intern Development Program (IDP).
• Successful completion of the Architect Registration Exam (ARE) State Registered – NCARB certificate in at least one jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Lead project designs, direct other architects and designers to complete architectural designs in accordance with accepted practices and company standards.
• Assist with and lead the development of contract documents, including Revit models, drawings, details, specifications, and installation scopes of work.
• Lead the development and maintenance of Revit standards, templates, and libraries.
• Work with the Department Manager for team improvements, technology needs, sales strategies, proposal development, and production efficiency.
• Mentor other architects and designers to facilitate a learning experience for subordinate personnel.
• Manage discipline project budgets utilizing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), ensuring alignment with scope of work.
• Supervise and direct assigned project personnel and control productivity, resource hours, changes, and scope adherence.
• Maintain and submit accurate budget and schedule forecasts to the Project Manager, Department Manager, and Client.
• Maintain project correspondence files including memos, letters, scope changes, and related documents.
• Maintain positive client relations and develop potential work opportunities.
• Adhere to Matrix safety standards and client-established safety protocols.
