Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced indirect tax professional to help clients identify risks and opportunities in unclaimed property and escheat compliance. You’ll work with a globally integrated team to provide practical solutions and strengthen client relationships.

You’ll support consultations, apply knowledge of unclaimed property concepts, and collaborate across resources in a balanced hybrid environment. CPA/Bar/IPT credentials are supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3 years of related work experience.
• Technical experience in compliance, audit defense and consulting for unclaimed property services.
• Experience in unclaimed property compliance advisory and related processes.
• Broad exposure to state and local taxation.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in a balanced hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to client satisfaction by providing timely and responsive services and work products.
• Staying informed of current technical developments and applying knowledge to client situations.
• Analyze information to prepare practical approaches to unclaimed property situations and reach conclusions.
