CFS in Chicago is seeking a Senior Indirect Tax Manager to own the multi-state indirect tax function and influence strategy as the company scales across markets. This is a high-visibility role with the excitement of growth and the stability of a public company.

You will lead sales/use tax, excise tax, and other transaction-based taxes while mentoring a tax team and partnering with cross-functional leaders to drive expansion and compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive indirect tax experience within a complex, multi-state organization.
• Strong expertise in indirect tax.

• Lead the multi-state indirect tax function (sales & use tax, excise, and related taxes).
• Drive tax planning initiatives, identify refund opportunities, and manage indirect tax risk across jurisdictions.
• Advise leadership on market expansion, acquisitions, licensing, and regulatory developments.
• Oversee audits, tax notices, and controversy matters while coordinating with advisors and authorities.
• Develop tax team members and improve tax processes, controls, and technology.
