EY is seeking an experienced indirect tax professional to join our global team, focusing on unclaimed property compliance and advisory services across multiple jurisdictions. You will analyze complex property scenarios, apply current tax developments, and collaborate with clients and internal teams in a hybrid work setting.

The role emphasizes client relationship building, technical proficiency in unclaimed property, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related work experience
• Technical experience related to compliance, audit defense and consulting for abandoned and unclaimed property services
• Performance and process advisory experience related to unclaimed property compliance
• Broad exposure to state and local taxation
• Excellent organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills
• Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant unclaimed property consulting experience in a professional services environment
• Ability to obtain CPA certification, Member of the US Bar or IPT designation
