Job summary

Golden Technology seeks a Senior Security Engineer to support daily Security Operations, focusing on investigating events and responding to complex incidents. You will lead containment, eradication, and recovery across endpoints, cloud, and identity-related issues, serving as an escalation point for the most challenging events.

The role requires senior-level experience in Security Operations, strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively under pressure

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations, investigations, and incident response.
• Hands-on experience investigating and responding to security events and incidents.
• Experience supporting containment, eradication, and recovery activities.
• Experience with security alerts and detections.
• Experience developing or maintaining security playbooks and/or runbooks.
• Understanding of SOAR/SIEM tooling, EDR, email gateways, and firewalls.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead containment, eradication, and recovery during incidents.
• Investigate security events and complex incidents across endpoints, cloud, and identity.
• Act as escalation point for high-severity security events.
• Communicate findings and remediation steps to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
