Cyderes is seeking a Principal Incident Response Consultant to lead major security incidents, coordinating with technical teams and clients in crisis to remediate threats and improve processes.

The role requires 5+ years in security, incident response, strong communication, and hands-on forensics across Windows, Linux, MacOS and cloud, plus experience mentoring junior responders. Hybrid work model with office days applies.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in professional services or information security with incident response focus.
• Certified in forensics or IR (GCIH, GCFA, GCFE, CFCE, GREM, EnCE, CCE, or similar).
• Ability to explain complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading incident response teams and coordinating responses.

Responsabilidades

• Lead responders on high-profile customer engagements.
• Perform incident triage to determine scope, urgency, and impact.
• Oversee full incident response lifecycle from preparation to lessons learned.
• Collect and analyze forensic artifacts from client networks or devices.
• Use EDRs or log platforms for large-scale investigations.
• Communicate clear verbal and written reports to customers.
• Mentor junior responders and help improve services.
