Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst in Incentive Compensation Risk Management to lead analytical work evaluating incentive plans across lines of business.

The role translates complex analyses into actionable insights for senior leaders and partners with IT, Finance, HR and Operations to balance risk and reward. The candidate will develop quantitative models, evaluate payout mechanics, and present findings to influence strategic decisions while maintaining rigorous governance and data

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience performing analysis.
• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date.

Responsibilities

• Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations.
• Involve problem frame-works, develop hypotheses, test and analysis, solution development, scope operational feasibility, lead implementation efforts and develop a monitoring plan.
• Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, HR, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service and profitability.
• Demonstrate a track record of data-driven decision making and problem solving.
• Maintain strong business judgment, integrity and the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Ensure clear communication through written and oral channels to support decision making.
• Focus on both short and long term goals and drive an actionable agenda in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in fast-paced or consulting environments is a plus.
