Latitude seeks an experienced in-house attorney as its first legal hire for a fully remote role. You will own commercial contracting, build the contract playbook, and stand up legal ops infrastructure while shaping the company’s AI and data-use policies.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in law, in-house at a PE-backed SaaS healthcare tech, and strong business judgment. This role requires a J.D., license in good standing in the U.S., and comfort working hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of legal experience (law firms and in-house).
• Licensed to practice in any U.S. state.
• In-house experience at a PE-backed, growth-stage SaaS healthcare tech.
• J.D. from an accredited law school; excellent academics.
• Pragmatic commercial judgment with business-unblocking bias.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with limited support.
• HIPAA, healthcare data, BAAs, AI data use in a product context.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end commercial contracting (customers, payer/Vendors).
• Build the contracting playbook, templates, approval matrix.
• Stand up/improve legal ops infrastructure (CLM, CRM integration).
• Own compliance framework with program owners and controls.
• Move routine corporate/generalist work in-house; reserve complex matters for outside counsel.
