Synchron in San Diego is seeking a Senior R & D Engineer in Electrical Engineering. This role requires ownership of the electrical design of implantable devices, driving architecture across various subsystems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal hardware design for electronic systems.
• Deep expertise in low-noise neural or bioelectric front-end design.
• Hands-on experience with prototypes through design verification.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end electrical architecture of the implant.
• Lead schematic design and component selection for ultra-low-power electronics.
• Define electrical verification and validation test plans.
