This role involves providing senior-level advice and counsel to laboratories and administrative departments regarding international employee and visitor immigration processes, filing applications for non-immigrant and immigrant visas, maintaining confidential data, and conducting campus-wide immigration trainings and orientations.

Highlights

• Provide advice and strategic planning for international employee and scholar immigration needs.
• Expertly file applications and petitions for various non-immigrant and immigrant visa classifications.
• Serve as Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) for the J-1 Exchange Visitor Program and manage SEVIS database.
• Maintain international scholar data using Smartsheets, Terra Dotta, and Fragomen Connect.
• Create and conduct training, orientations, and workshops for faculty, scholars, and departments.
• Plan campus cultural events such as Diwali and Chinese New Year.
• Manage office supplies and project budgets.
• Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in International Studies or related field, 5+ years international scholar advising experience including scientific researchers, and experience living or working abroad.
• Compensation is commensurate with experience.
