Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to lead security design for IIoT and Grid-connected products. You will serve as the primary technical authority for product security across the device lifecycle, collaborating with hardware, firmware, systems engineering, and product management.

The role emphasizes hardware security, OT/IT convergence, and adherence to industrial security standards. Travel ~5-10% and a typical M-F schedule are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Security, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of dedicated experience in product security, embedded/IIoT security.
• Industry-recognized security certifications preferred but not required (e.g., GICSP, CISSP, ISA/IEC 62443).
• OT/ICS security experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Travel 5-10%.
• Typical work hours 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday; may require availability outside these hours.

Responsibilities

• Security Architecture: Define and own the security architecture for connected IIoT products, including device identity frameworks, secure boot, cryptographic key management, and hardware root of trust.
• Industrial Standards Leadership: Enforce security design requirements per IEC 62443, UL 2900, NERC CIP, NIST SP 800-82, NIST CSF.
• OT/IT Convergence: Design security boundaries for OT and IT, ensuring defense-in-depth.
• Protocol and Interface Security: Advise on industrial protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, CAN) and their security considerations.
• Threat Modeling: Lead threat modeling exercises (STRIDE, PASTA) for IIoT initiatives and translate risks to design controls.
• Risk Prioritization: Assess security risks across portfolios based on exploitability and impact.
• Vulnerability Coordination: Lead responses to vulnerabilities with product, engineering, and customers.
• Supply Chain Security: Evaluate hardware and third-party software supply chain risks and set security requirements.
