Job summary

American business solutions inc is seeking a seasoned IDMS specialist with 15+ years in deployment and operations on IBM mainframes running z/OS. You will work with IDMS databases, both native and SQL, and ensure security and performance of ADS/O applications.

Candidates should hold 12+ years in IBM High Level Assembler, 10+ years in Perfmon monitoring, and strong experience in IDMS security, SQL options, and healthcare/MMIS contexts.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience with IDMS deployment and operations in a z/OS environment on a z-series IBM mainframe computer.
• 10+ years with IDMS SQL option and relational SQL syntax for IDMS databases.
• 15+ years with deployment of IDMS security, including ADS/O structures and database objects.
• 15+ years of IDMS application programming in COBOL and ADS/O, native and SQL.
• 12+ years with IBM High Level Assembler on z/OS.
• 10+ years of IDMS Perfmon online monitoring and report generation.
• Preferred: RACF security knowledge; healthcare/MMIS/PHI data handling; public sector experience.
