Job summary

Datagist LLC is seeking a Senior Consultant to design and deliver data integration, data quality and master data solutions on Informatica IDMC for pharma and life sciences clients. You will own solution design, lead workshops, and guide onshore and offshore developers. Some client travel is expected.

Requirements include 8+ years in data management, 3+ years with IDMC, strong SQL, APIs, and cloud data platforms, and a track record on regulatory compliant projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data integration, data quality or MDM, including 3+ years on IDMC.
• Strong hands-on skills in CDI mappings, taskflows, mapping tasks and parameterization, plus working knowledge of CAI processes and APIs.
• At least two complete IDMC implementations or PowerCenter-to-IDMC migrations delivered.
• Practical experience with CDQ and at least one MDM SaaS module (Customer 360, Product 360 or Reference 360).
• Advanced SQL, and experience with at least one cloud data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure or AWS).
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and scripting in Python or Unix shell.
• Understanding of CI/CD for IDMC assets, such as Git integration, asset export/import and deployment automation.
• Experience on Agile delivery teams using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Life sciences experience and delivered data projects for pharma/biotech/CRO/medical device.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements and design workshops with business, IT and quality stakeholders, and turn needs into IDMC solution architecture.
• Design and build integrations with CDI, CAI and Mass Ingestion across cloud and on-prem sources.
• Implement data quality rules, profiling and scorecards with CDQ for product, customer, HCP and clinical data.
• Configure Customer 360, Product 360 or Reference 360 (MDM SaaS), including match/merge rules and workflows.
• Set up data governance and lineage in CDGC with glossaries and policies.
• Lead migrations from PowerCenter or on-prem MDM to IDMC, including assessment and cutover planning.
• Build pipelines into Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift or BigQuery.
• Produce validation docs for GxP-regulated systems (IQ/OQ/PQ, traceability matrices).
• Mentor junior consultants, review code, and enforce development standards.
• Improve performance and cost via Secure Agent sizing and job tuning.
• Contribute to pre-sales work: solution proposals, effort estimates and client demos.

You will also make sure every pipeline meets the compliance standards that regulated life sciences data requires.

What you will do

• Implement data quality rules, profiling and scorecards with Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) for product, customer, HCP and clinical data.
• Configure Customer 360, Product 360 or Supplier 360 (MDM SaaS), including match/merge rules, survivorship, hierarchies and stewardship workflows.
• Set up data governance and lineage in Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC), including business glossaries and policies.
• Lead migrations from PowerCenter or on-prem MDM to IDMC, covering assessment, conversion and cutover planning.
• Build pipelines into Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift or Google BigQuery.
• Produce validation documentation for GxP-regulated systems, such as IQ/OQ/PQ support, traceability matrices and test scripts.
• Mentor junior consultants, review code, and enforce development standards.

What we look for

• Candidates must have delivered data projects for at least one pharma, biotech, CRO or medical device organization. They should know the following areas well:
• Regulatory and compliance: GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, CSV/CSA, ALCOA+ data integrity, HIPAA, GDPR.
• Commercial data: HCP/HCO master data, IQVIA, Veeva CRM and OpenData, Symphony Health, specialty pharmacy data, and Sunshine Act / Open Payments reporting.
• Clinical and R&D data: CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM), EDC and CTMS integration (Medidata Rave, Veeva Vault Clinical).
• Product and supply chain: product master, IDMP, DSCSA serialization, and SAP S/4HANA or ECC materials and batch data.
• Quality and regulatory systems: Veeva Vault QMS/RIM, TrackWise or similar.
• A senior hire should have depth in two or more of these areas.
