Job summary

Millennium Management LLC is seeking an Identity Security Engineer to lead access control strategies and authentication platform design. You will drive security for Windows, Entra ID, AD, SAML, OIDC, and PKI while coordinating with Technology, Trading and Compliance.

The role requires 10+ years in technical security, a CS/engineering degree, and strong CI/CD experience; NYC base with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a technical role, with 5+ years in information security; financial services experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience engineering Microsoft security solutions across desktop and server OS, Entra ID, AD, GP, DNS, and collaboration platforms.
• Experience with EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management; security certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead security consulting and engineering for Windows, AD, Entra ID and related identity security solutions.
• Define and execute authentication platform strategy across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Serve as technical authority on SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, and Kerberos including SSO, PKI, and identity controls.
• Assess identity risks and communicate remediation plans to senior stakeholders.
• Shape identity security roadmap by evaluating emerging technologies, trends, and threats.
• Lead identity-related workstreams during security incidents and post-incident hardening.
• Partner with stakeholders to define and enforce identity and access security policies.
