• 6+ years of hands-on risk experience in e-commerce or financial services, with at least 2 years focused on combating ATO and scams in Fraud, Trust and Safety, or Account Security.
• 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis using SQL and Python, including working with large-scale databases.
• Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Superset) to build dashboards and reporting frameworks.
• Proven ability to independently scope and deliver analytics projects while collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams.
• Familiarity with blockchain analytics and fraud trends within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

As a Senior Analyst on the Risk Analytics team within the Consumer & Business group, you'll own the identification and mitigation of account takeover (ATO) and scam risk across the Coinbase ecosystem. You'll build critical defenses that protect our users and platform integrity, using data to drive risk decisions that impact millions of customers. This is a high-impact role where you'll define risk metrics, shape prevention strategies, and partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to stay ahead of evolving threats.

What you’ll do:

Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):

$167,280—$196,800 USD
