Job summary

Forgent Power seeks an Infra Engineer III, M365 & Identity to own the Microsoft identity and productivity platform across the organization. You will govern Entra ID, CA, PIM, and M365 security per the E5 licensing, moving toward a single governed platform by go-live day.

You will drive identity and access governance, SSO integrations, and application provisioning across multiple entities, coordinating with security and IT teams to ensure zero-trust alignment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in Microsoft identity and enterprise Microsoft 365 engineering.
• Deep hands‑on expertise with Entra ID — user and group management, CA, hybrid identity, and B2B.
• Proven experience implementing and operating Privileged Identity Management in a production enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of hybrid identity — Entra Connect, password hash sync, etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, including DLP policy design and compliance reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with Defender for Identity sensor deployment and alert management.
• Solid understanding of Intune device compliance and its integration with CA.
• Experience configuring enterprise SSO using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect.
• Experience managing application provisioning and de‑provisioning via SCIM.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate Entra ID across all Forgent entities — users, groups, roles, licensing.
• Design and enforce Conditional Access policies aligned to Zero Trust principles.
• Implement and manage Privileged Identity Management — just‑in‑time activation, access reviews, least‑privilege.
• Manage Self‑Service Password Reset in hybrid AD and Entra ID.
• Own Entra Connect and identity sync health across on‑prem and Entra ID.
• Lead Entra ID Governance — access reviews, entitlement management, lifecycle workflows.
• Deploy and manage Defender for Identity sensors and integrate with Defender XDR.
• Configure Purview DLP policies across Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, endpoints.
• Manage Intune compliance and CA integration.
• Be the identity SME during security incidents involving compromised accounts.
