E&M Technologies, Inc. is seeking an ICAM Architect to support the NGA from Chantilly, VA.

The role emphasizes enterprise ICAM architecture across modernization programs and transition to modern patterns. You will translate mission needs into technical requirements, develop identity and policy services patterns, and guide DevOps and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions with strong governance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in STEM with 10+ years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years.
• Experience as solutions/enterprise architect supporting modernization, security, or ICAM programs.
• Distributed systems design, microservices, and cloud-native solutions experience.
• Experience leading ICAM modernization and identity/authorization services.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and PI planning.
• Ability to define architectural goals and detailed implementation guidance.
• Ability to obtain Security+ within 90 days; US citizenship required; DoD clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise ICAM architecture across modernization programs.
• Develop end-to-end architectural patterns for identity, authorization, and policy services.
• Partner with Technical Lead to validate roadmaps and integration strategies for on-prem and cloud.
• Translate mission needs into requirements, sequence diagrams, and system artifacts.
• Oversee design of PEP/PIP interfaces supporting ABAC, policy evaluation, and event-driven decisions.
• Architect EMS and RPMS capabilities, including policy lifecycle automation and orchestration.
• Provide guidance to DevOps and Software teams to meet scalability, security, and maintainability needs.
• Conduct architectural reviews, risk assessments, and compliance verification.
• Identify innovation opportunities in identity services and integration patterns.
