Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in computer science, networking, or related fields.
• 10+ years' experience supporting IC network/transport requirements.
• 5+ years' experience performing IC network design/engineering/analysis for IC Agency networks.
• Strong network troubleshooting and analytical skills in the network domain.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the configuration management database for the customer's transport network.
• Interact with network and transport service providers to resolve issues and plan future products.
• Provide engineering for optical circuit design, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Develop circuit specifications, test methodologies, and verification techniques.
• Perform requirements analysis, schedule review, and cost estimation for new transport bandwidth.
• Conduct risk assessment of network architectures to minimize outages.
• Evaluate vendor documentation and network designs for technical details.
• Document memoranda of understanding and SLAs for cross-organization coordination.
• Review daily network health reports and guide operations and vendors to resolve issues.
• Understand IC Partner networks and provide technical input for cross-community transport questions.
• Serve as Transport Services site liaison for multiple locations.
• Provide network/transport engineering input for special projects.
