Job summary

Capital One in Chicago is seeking an Integration Engineer 4 to manage the IBM MQ messaging stack, design new MQ services, and ensure security and disaster recovery readiness for critical applications. You will architect and maintain cross‑platform integrations and contribute to automation efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
4+ years of experience designing and maintaining cross‑platform or cloud integrations.
3+ years of experience automating system configuration or data workflows.

Responsibilities

Manage IBM MQ messaging stack to ensure availability, capacity and performance for critical applications.
Design and configure MQ services, perform upgrades, configure channels, topics, and queues.
Resolve security vulnerabilities and disaster recovery events for MQ managers.
Automate deployment and management of IBM MQ servers.
Collaborate with application owners to understand required capabilities and testing scenarios.
Design and implement robust integration solutions in AWS and continuously improve engineering practices.
