Job summary

Delphi-US - Peacemakers in the Talent War is seeking an IBM MQ Administrator to support enterprise messaging reliability across distributed platforms. You will install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ middleware and collaborate with application, infrastructure, network, and security teams to troubleshoot complex MQ issues.

This remote contract role requires strong MQ expertise, on-call rotation, and the ability to perform MQ health checks, security configurations (CHLAUTH, SSL/TLS), clustering,

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience administering IBM MQ / WebSphere MQ in enterprise environments.
Experience with MQ security: CHLAUTH, authorities, authentication, and SSL/TLS.
Experience with MQ health checks, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Ability to troubleshoot MQ connectivity, message flow, and application integration issues.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ across Windows, Linux, Unix, and AIX environments.
Administer Queue Managers, queues, channels, and listeners to ensure reliable message delivery.
Configure MQ clustering and multi-instance Queue Managers for high availability and failover.
Implement secure messaging using SSL/TLS and CHLAUTH controls.
Monitor queue depths, channel status, and message flow; resolve issues and perform maintenance.
Document procedures, runbooks, and support on-call rotations.
