Job summary

SMX Services & Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior IBM Master Data Management (MDM) & Integration Developer to provide ongoing development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and production support for enterprise-level MDM applications.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM v14.x Standard Edition (Virtual MDM) and strong Kafka capabilities. The role requires 8+ years of Java/J2EE development experience, extensive MDM data model work, and the ability to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of software development experience supporting enterprise-scale systems.
Strong hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM v14.x Standard Edition (Virtual MDM).
Strong experience with MDM data models, entities, transactions, batch processing, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.

Responsibilities

Provide ongoing maintenance, development, enhancement, and production support for MDM applications.
Support and maintain MPI, MIDSP, and Symmetry applications.
Gather requirements and develop high-level functional and technical specifications.
Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Develop scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and other scripting technologies.
Work with DBAs to develop, execute, and optimize SQL scripts.
Create monthly reports and operational documentation for MDM applications.
Collaborate with business analysts, database administrators, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders.
