Job summary

IO Datasphere, Inc. is seeking a Senior IBM Master Data Management (MDM)/Integration Developer for a Lansing, MI project with the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services. The role requires 8+ years in enterprise software and expert IBM InfoSphere MDM, Kafka, and WildFly experience.

Hybrid work with on-site Mondays and Tuesdays is mandatory. You will lead design, development, and maintenance across SDLC, collaborate with DBAs and infrastructure teams, and ensure data integrity and

Qualifications

8+ years - Software development experience supporting enterprise-scale systems.
Strong hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM v14.x Standard Edition (Virtual MDM) including MDM data models, entities, transactions, batch processing, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka including topic creation and configuration, producer and consumer development, message flow troubleshooting, and understanding of Zookeeper and Kafka KRaft concepts using Strimzi operator.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Azure Git repo, or similar tools.
Experience working with application servers such as WildFly, including deployments, startup, configuration, health checks, and runtime issue resolution.
8+ years - Java / J2EE experience, including Java, JSP, and REST/SOAP-based services, with strong production troubleshooting skills.
5+ years - Linux/Unix operating systems, including command-line usage, log analysis, and system-level troubleshooting.
Experience with batch processing using WildFly and Kafka.
Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
Strong Linux/Unix shell scripting skills (Bash).

Responsibilities

Write high level functional requirement documents.
Develop scripts in PowerShell.
Work in Git and GitHub for repositories.
Work closely with Database Administrators to develop and execute SQL scripts.
Create monthly reports for MDM applications.
Work with client for task and ticket resolutions.
Work on creating and deploying certificates on Windows and Linux systems.
Work closely with Infrastructure teams for maintenance and issue resolution.
Execute full SDLC including gathering requirements and writing specs for complex projects.
Experience developing prototypes and mockups for user review and approval.
Expose to flowcharts and documentation to ensure logical flow of requirements.
Assist with Enterprise Architecture Solution Assessment and hosting documentation.
Design, develop, and implement test plans and reports for applications.
Create or collect test data and execute tests to verify logic.
Assist with UAT Testing, Test cases, Post Implementation testing.
Provide defect and incident tracking information.
Assist with RFC implementations.
Maintain/update system documentation after upgrades.
Monitor production and non-production environments.
Provide application support for business client applications.
Deliver products and services based on core SDLC concepts.
