Job summary

StarTekk seeks a Senior IBM MDM & Integration Developer to maintain, enhance, and support enterprise MDM applications including MPI, MIDSP, and Symmetry. You will work with IBM InfoSphere MDM v14.x, Java/J2EE, and Kafka across Linux/Unix environments, collaborating with DBAs and infrastructure teams to ensure robust, scalable data management solutions.

The role covers SDLC participation, testing, automation scripting, and production issue resolution, with on-site work in Lansing, MI.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM v14.x Standard Edition (Virtual MDM).
• Experience with MDM data models, entities, transactions, batch processing, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with Apache Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, support, and enhance IBM MDM applications and integrations.
• Develop high-level functional and technical requirement documents.
• Work with Linux/Unix environments and develop PowerShell and Bash scripts.
• Manage source code repositories using Git and GitHub.
• Collaborate with DBAs to develop and execute SQL scripts.
• Prepare monthly reports for MDM applications.
• Support client tickets, incidents, and production issues.
