Job summary

Crown Holdings is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to join the Information Systems team supporting operations across the United States and Canada. You will design, develop, and support IBM i applications, lead modernization efforts, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

As a senior team member, you will mentor peers, participate in project planning, and ensure system stability with 24/7 on-call coverage. This is an on-site role in Yardley, PA.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of application development and support in an IBM i environment.
• Strong experience with RPG Free, RPG IV/ILE RPG, SQL, CL, and Db2 for i.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support business-critical IBM i applications for Crown's manufacturing and finance operations.
• Lead enhancements and modernization efforts, including RPG conversions and code refactoring.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs and scalable solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across North America and operations.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to support mission-critical systems.
