Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer in Illinois to design, develop, and maintain IBM Case Manager solutions and Java/J2EE applications. You will build RESTful APIs, UI components with Dojo, and integrate with backend systems in a multi‑platform enterprise environment.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, adhere to SDLC security standards, and troubleshoot issues across development and production environments. 5+ years in IBM Case Manager and Java/J2EE are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
5+ years with IBM Case Manager 5.3.x solutions.
5+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE development.
Experience with IBM Content Navigator, BAW 24.0.0, Datacap 9.1.x, IBM P8 5.5.
Strong REST API design and development experience.
Proficiency in JavaScript and Dojo.
SQL and database query development expertise.
Experience with IBM FileNet/Content Management and middleware like WebSphere.
Experience in Agile or DevOps environments and multi‑platform setups.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain IBM Case Manager Solutions to replace paper‑intensive processes.
Design, develop Java/J2EE applications and batch processes as needed.
Develop and support UI components and client‑side functionality with JavaScript and Dojo.
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to support performance.
Design and develop RESTful APIs to enable integration and modernization.
Integrate applications with backend systems and enterprise platforms.
Participate in requirements analysis, design discussions, and solutioning.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development and production environments.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams.
Adhere to coding standards, security practices, and SDLC processes.
