Job summary

Houlihan Lokey, Inc. in Los Angeles seeks a Financial Analyst to support investment banking engagements in the Business Services Group. You will analyze financials, perform valuations, and help manage due diligence and M&A transactions.

You will prepare memoranda, presentations, and pitches, while building client relationships and coordinating with advisors and teams across sectors. A strong work ethic and 1–2 years of IB experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Coursework in accounting and finance required.
• Strong analytical capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and application.
• Prior investment banking experience, at least 1–2 years.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and help explain historical and projected financial information.
• Perform valuations of companies and businesses.
• Coordinate and perform business due diligence and execute M&A transactions.
• Prepare confidential memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentations.
• Assist in the marketing and execution of existing engagements.
• Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients and professional advisors.
