Panthalassa, a Portland-based renewable energy and ocean tech company, is hiring an IAM Engineer to own the identity plane across the stack. You will administer Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace, design Conditional Access, automate user lifecycle, and bring all SaaS apps under SSO with automated provisioning.

Qualifications

• Experience administering identity and access in a modern IdP with user lifecycle management.
• Experience implementing SSO and provisioning integrations (SAML, SCIM) across SaaS.
• Automation experience with scripting or API work against identity platforms.
• Ability to write clear documentation and translate policy into controls.
• Ability to explain access decisions to non-technical audiences.

Responsabilités

• Identity Infrastructure: manage Entra ID, dynamic groups, and role assignment.
• Access policy: design Conditional Access linking device posture and identity signals.
• Authentication: MFA, passwordless rollout, and legacy auth retirement.
• Automation & Lifecycle: automate joiner/mover/leaver and SaaS provisioning.
• Non-Human Identity: govern service accounts, OAuth scopes, and API creds.
• Security & Compliance: advance zero-trust and align with NIST/compliance.
• Governance: maintain inventory and evidence for auditors.
